The original photo is a bright red and is accurately depicted on my Lock Screen, but when I unlock it the wallpaper turns to a kind of iron orange hue.
Is there a fix for this?
True tone and night mode are off. Changing dark mode isn’t effective, but is on in the example pictures.

When the phone is unlocked the screen adapts to ambient light and may change the shading of the screen. If you don’t want this go to Settings/Display & Brightness and turn off True Tone.
True Tone is off as stated in my original post.
Also, both screen shots taken were from an unlocked phone. I just slid down from the top like I was looking at notifications.
Okay this is crazy. I switched between different home screens and the problem is now resolved apparently.
My unlocked screen is dimmer than my locked screen
