In order to plan trips, I would like to use my computer to get Apple Maps to route between two locations in another country. How do I do that? It seems as if the only way to get directions to be physically at your starting location and tapping Directions.

Never mind. It seems you start by getting directions across continents from your physical location, and then you change the starting point.
It would be better if there was a From and To box to begin with.
How do I get directions from one arbitrary location to another?
