Why do some iPhone albums not show various artists?
Albums when transfered to my iphone do not always show a various artists. Some show the name of the first artist on the album.

If you look at that album in iTunes have you set an Album Artist value, or marked the album as part of a compilation? Typically setting at least one of these allows the device to group all of the tracks under one album cover and list it under Various Artists or Compilations as appropriate.
