I want to trim volume of all tracks in my mix without losing automation. So I've highlighted all tracks (I'm in automation mode), I move cursor over a "trim" value, I click my touch pad and get the up/down arrow image... but can't drag the value up or down. Any thoughts?
I found the problem. If any of the regions you selected already have an automation point at max high or max(min?) low, there's no room for you to adjust in whichever direction is maxed out, so the function is disabled until you manually adjust the maxed region point so there's room for what you're asking the Trim to do.
