Podcasts won't download on my brand new iPhone 15 Pro

I bought an iPhone 15 Pro 3 days ago and the iOS is up to date at 17.5.1. When I set it up and and moved my settings over everything was fine. I was able to organize my podcasts in the same way as my old iphone 11 pro. Today my new phone won't download any podcast. I just get a download failed. Download error message every time. I've turned off wifi and tested that way and get the same message. I have a huge amount of available space, so that's not the problem. I tested downloading the specific episodes on my computer and my old phone and they work fine and complete the downloads. Needless to say, this sucks. I'd sure appreciate some help getting this fixed. I've restarted and rebooted the phone, no joy.
