You have a hardware issue
Vertical lines are almost always a fault in the display itself.
You can compare your results plugging in an external monitor and compare your results
In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"
