Liftmaster/Chamberlain MyQ Home Bridge 819LMB - can't reconnect it to new Verizon Router

I've used the MyQ Home Bridge 819LMB successfully for several years with a pair of Craftsman Openers. Since the Craftsman weren't wifi enabled, I added a Chamberlin Smart Garage Control G0401-ES to access them via MyQ. Recently I had to replace an old router and I've been unable to reconnect the Home Bridge. I was able to get the Smart Garage Control to work with the router, no problem. So I can use the MyQ app to open the doors.

(As an aside, someone posted a problem where the doors only opened from their MacBook, not their phone...and determined it was a naming issue. I've used Left Door and Right Door and those names work fine).

Many calls and online chats to MyQ resulted in my being told it won't work (any more...since it did for years). One person said the Home Bridge is not compatible with the new Verizon router. The other said Apple had dropped something from their system and MyQ won't support Apple or Google till this is fixed.

What do you know, gang?

There are a few discussions elsewhere that indicate none of their products work with certain Mesh routers.

I have a TP-Link Deco Mesh system and my opener is connecting via an Internet of Things network I created on the router. It uses 2.4GHz. I remember having a dongle for an earlier garage door opener that stopped working well before the Mesh router. The opener broke so I replaced it with one with the wifi built-in.

It is possible the Home Bridge isn't capable of using newer wifi security and Apple stops using older cracked security systems fairly quickly. So, both statements you received are likely correct.
