Adding Apple TV 4k bricks my smart home

I run an apple Homekit smart home for two years now, with HomePod first gen as an hub. It run mostly without any issues.

I needed to add an Apple TV as an home hub and thread bridge for a smart lock that I'm planning to add.

Yesterday I installed a new Apple TV 4k with ethernet, configured everything a did a software update.. Immediately after adding the TV to the home app, the ATV hub appeared as "Non Responsive". I disconnected the HomePod to let the ATV take control, but all accessories connected to the home became unresponsive. No matter what I did, restart everything, disconnecting IKEA bridge, all accessories remained unresponsive with the ATV as an hub.

Today I decided to start from scratch: Did a full factory reset to the ATV with software update, erased the home ,started a new home and added few accessories (Hopepod unplugged). Once I added the ATV all accessories became unresponsive again. Removed ATV from home -> accessories are responsive.

Both ATV and iPhone are on the same iCloud ID and setup was done with the iPhone.

Any suggestion before I throw the ATV to the garbage bin?

I had solved the problem. I had one cable going from the ISP Modem/Router to a switch that connects to all the cables in the house, and another cable going to the ORBI mesh router. It created two separate networks for wifi and ethernet. This was done by the guy who installed the network in my house. The solution was to connect the switch to the ORBI router, in this way, the wifi and ethernet is now controlled by the ORBI and are on the same network. Once I moved the cable, everything works correctly, the ATV hub is always connected and all accessories are responding.

I think that it's a network configuration issue in my house, since the IP address is 10.0.0.x on wifi, and 192.168.1.xxx on ethernet.

You have multiple routers, or multiple devices that do routing, which should be brought back to one. All the other network gear should extend the network, without doing any additional routing. Depending on your comfort with the settings of the network devices, you may or may not need to bring in an expert.

Thank you! I can confirm that it works with the WIFI, but all accessories are not responsive when the ATV is connected with ethernet cable.

I think that it's a network configuration issue in my house, since the IP address is 10.0.0.x on wifi, and 192.168.1.xxx on ethernet. The ISP modem is also a router, and I have a NetGear orbi mesh wifi router system. I will call the ISP and ask to configure the modem in a bridge mode and try again.
