How do I check what files are being pushed to my business device?

I would like to know what applications, daemons and and files are being pushed to a device I use in a business setting? Is there a system panel in which I can see what is being pushed?

My work computer is "managed" and the central office often installs and uninstalls various software packages and often there is no way to tell that it happened. It can be done over the internet even when your device is supposedly sleeping or anytime in the day or night. Recently they remotely selected a new configuration for MS-Teams and uninstalled Webex, for instance. They can push MacOS and security updates and even reboot the computer for those if need be. If you install something they don't like they can sense that and remove it. I think you need to do what Etresoft says, namely to ask the IT people. Our IT people post announcements do we know what is being done to our work computers.

Pragmatically, this is not your computer.

How it works (or doesn’t work) or what apps or settings get pushed or pulled or why, is not your problem.

But if it doesn’t work for your business needs, that’s fodder for a discussion with IT and with your manager.

IT preferably provides users with some insights here, and your own efforts toward cultivating contacts within IT might help assuage some of your concerns, but transparent communications from IT groups are unfortunately not a universally-available and accepted practice.
