If by chance, by buying storage, which is iCloud Storage, you bought, you thought it would add memory to your iPhone, you would have made a bad assumption. There is NO WAY to add memory to an iPhone. A 64GB iPhone will ALWAYS be a 64GB iPhone. Buying more storage, only gives you more space in iCloud to sync more data with.

The bottom line is if your device is out of memory, the only way to get memory back is to delete things you don't need or use, like Photos, Music, Files, Apps, Messages, Email, etc.

And the next time you buy a new iPhone, buy one with enough memory to meet your storage needs as again, once purchased, there is no way to add memory to an iPhone.
