Disable “swipe to refresh” feature in Safari

Is it possible to disable the “swipe to refresh” feature in Safari? I’m asking this question because I find it easy to accidentally trigger it, especially when using a trackpad. Disabling this feature would make using Safari less annoying for me, especially when using web apps.

Presumably you refer to the downward swipe-gesture - only available having scrolled to the very top of a webpage. You should note that this is a system-level gesture, also present in other browser Apps.

Along with other system-level swipe gestures, this cannot be disabled from iPad settings.

Apple does invite submission of comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. For iPad and iPadOS:

Feedback - iPad - Apple

If you would like Apple to consider adding a configuration option for this feature, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to submit your request.
