iOS 17.5.1 No Longer Supports Phone Car Key

I got an iPhone 15 Pro Max in April, 2024. I updated to 17.5.1 and can no longer use my phone as a car key for my four-year old Tesla. I've been to the AT&T store twice and they could not find a remedy. The Apple store said, "Your bluetooth isn't working," and "This is a Tesla problem," or "This is an AT&T problem." Tesla wants to charge me over $265 an hour to "try to find a solution" for this problem. Online communities across the net say that the problem lies with the Apple Software, that iOS 17 no longer supports phone keys.

This is a safety issue for me and very inconvenient. My car no longer unlocks when I am walking towards it. I can't cool off or heat up the interior before I get in it. I can't unlock the car remotely if my husband misplaces HIS phone, so he can drive home, which has happened three times. I have to use a plastic key card, which is very easy to lose. I have to unlock all the doors from the driver's side to get my groceries out. I have very little control over my own car! My car thinks I am stealing it until I find that plastic key card. Has anyone found a FIX for this problem? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS APPLE?
