Please, I would like to get ways of fixing the problem. My WhatsApp video calls keep dropping before picked, and shows black blank page if finally picked but the call does not last. It doesn’t happen for WhatsApp voice calls.

You do not say if this Cellular or Wifi calling...try making a change and compare the results.
If you are using a VPN, try disabling or uninstalling it.
What I can say for third party apps—if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates…
