How do I prevent myself from being shown when I am online?

When I am online, I prefer not to let others know. I cannot answer all who would try to contact me if they knew I was online. This is an especially This is an especially important when I am just searching for information and do not want to be contacted. A brain injury makes this important to me.

If you don’t already subscribe to iCloud+, do so (Settings/[your name]/iCloud/Manage Account Storage. Then go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud/Private Relay and turn it on. This will hide your IP address and other identifying information, except for what you enter in to the pages you visit.

For extra security, only use Private Browsing.
