Why is Word not letting me highlight text on my Mac mini?

"Why is Word not letting me highlight text on my Mac mini?: I can't highlight text in Word any more. Don't know if it is a Word problem or my Mac Mini problem. I need to copy and paste an article I typed up and the text won't highlight. It just started recently."

This is an Issue with your Mac.

Restart your Mac. I have the issue every-so-often with MS Word. Save what need be, and then close Word and then reopen it is what works best.

Use the Keyboard:

• Selecting with the Keyboard:

Hold down the shift key along with using the arrow keys.

• Copy and Paste using the Keyboard:

1. Copy: [command + C]
2. Paste: [command + V]
