Downloading Podcast

Every times I download a podcast via Apple Podcast app, they queue and download, then the check mark appears and everything seems good and done, but then when I get to "downloaded podcasts", the list is completely empty, and when I get back to the Podcast main page, they still offer to download… I can repeat this process four or five times in a row before the download actually sticks.

I have more than enough space left so I know it’s not something relating to storage, but it’s getting very frustrating and it’s getting very expensive in terms of data, since Apple Podcast will play regardless of your type of connection.
