Stop external disks from disconnecting when Apple Studio goes to sleep
I'm using my Apple Studio connected to my M1 Max MacBook Pro and have a USB -C hub plugged in to one of the USB3 ports and three ext disks connected to the hub. I also have an ethernet to USB-C dongle plugged in directly to the Apple Studio display.
Everything works, but when my Mac sends a sleep signal to the Studio Display, everything is cut, including power and since the disks are all bus powered, I always wake the Mac up to dozens of disk ejection messages.
Nothing is broken and it seems more an annoyance. If there's activity, I won't see the errors as MacOS will keep everything powered but, is there a way to tell Apple Studio Display to keep the USB-C ports powered or is my only option to purchase a powered hub (that then plugs into Studio Display)?
