my new m1 mac (just bought) is dying at 60% battery
while my battery is at 60 , it shuts down unexpectedly and then i need to charge it to make it work again..how can i fix this

Looks like you have a faulty battery if the values shown in Coconut Battery are correct. If you run the Apple Diagnostics I would imagine the battery would fail. If you Option-click the battery icon on the menu bar I would expect to see the Battery condition as "Service Recommended".
You should have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to confirm and have it repaired under warranty if it is new.
