My FaceTime deactivates as soon as I close the App

i activate my facetime then when i close the app and open it again it deactivates and when i activate, it deactivates and so on what do i do to solve this problem

How are you closing it? The right was is to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to display the Home screen.


The wrong way is to swipe partway up to expose the App Switcher, then swipe up on FaceTime. This force-closes the app, which disconnects it from the FaceTime server, so you have to activate it again when you open it. Many apps, including FaceTime, will misbehave and potentially lose data if your force close them.
