Length of Sequence in FCPX

P.S. Putting too fine of a point on it, there are no "sequences" in FCP. There are Projects that we open in the Timeline pane. And no, there's no limit of a Project duration. Feature films have been on in FCP that are 2+ hours long.

The rest I defer to Luis, who I think is on the right path here. System drive must have at least 15% of its capacity left as free space (and it's just good housekeeping for non-system drives, also), or you'll get all sorts of wacky behaviors.

What do you call plenty of disk space, specifically?

In the Timeline, Alt-X will deselect ranges and everything, then export. If it is cutting you off at 1:25, something is really off about that.

Some usual things to try, assuming space is not a problem:

1) Delete all render files. Sometimes a stuck render file can cause weird issues

2) Delete FCP preferences (a standard thing whenever the application misbehaves).

3) Post an Etrecheck report here, so we can look for possible software conflicts.

Two possibilities come to mind:

1) Maybe you have accidentally set a range in the timeline. When a range is set, only that part is exported.

2) Lack of disk space either in the system drive or the drive to which you are exporting.

Rereading your post, maybe I misinterpreted things, so please clarify: is your exported file only 1:15 or is it 2:29, but without any video in the last part (like the image was stuck or audio plays but the video is black or something)?
