Airpod Pro connect to Kindle Paperwhite but no sound

I recently bought a pair of A3048 Airpod Pros and they connect successfully through bluetooth with my Kindle Paperwhite (11th Generation), but when I play an audible book on the Kindle I get no sound.

If I connect the Kindle to my old A2031 Airpods the audio works fine.

I have tried forgetting and resetting the Airpod Pros with no success.

I am running the latest versions of all software on all devices.

"Airpod Pro connect to Kindle Paperwhite but no sound: I have posted the issue on the Amazon forum as well. Not everyone on that forum is an Airpod Pro user and I'm unsure as to which device has the issue, so have approached this issue from both sides.

Are you not seeing these on your Kindle? Enable Bluetooth, and make sure that no other Bluetooth devices these have already been paired with is within a 30 foot radius of this. Bluetooth can only go 30 feet of these. I would also consider restarting your Kindle(manually) and resetting your AirPod Pros.
