I have an apple watch model number MNL83LL/A version 10.5 and the heart rate monitor stopped working.

Toggled Power Saving Mode on and off

Heart Rate and Fitness Tracking are enabled on iPhone under Privacy settings.

Wrist Detection is turned on in the Watch app under Passcode

watch is snug

Cleaned the back of the watch

Restarted iPhone and Apple Watch.

unpaired and re-paired Apple Watch with iPhone.

Did you also set up your watch as a new device after erasing and pairing it again?

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support


If the heart rate sensor does not work after that, you should contact the official Apple Support, they can diagnose your watch online.
