Dual SIM abroad eats up my battery when one is only for WiFi calling and doesn’t get cell signal
I have regular cell service in the US but no international roaming. I am often in Europe where I get a data-only plan on a second eSIM. I can still call and text with my US number over WiFi or using the data connection provided by the European SIM card.
My main problem is that my battery drains very quickly, probably because my iPhone 15 keeps trying to connect to the primary provider’s network, which won’t work anyway (that’s 50-70% of battery drain). Is there a way to disable cellular on my primary SIM completely but still keep it active for WiFi/data calls to keep my normal phone number working?
