Why can I not download videos from YouTube with YouTube premium?

I recently switched laptop from a windows to a MacBook before I had no issues with downloading videos from YouTube premium but now that I have switched I still have no ads because of the premium but I can now no longer download videos. From my perspective the button for downloading is completely gone. Please help!!

It's still available on my iPhone SE, but I cannot even upload a video from the Youtube standard page without it going to a completely blank studio page. Youtube downloads on Safari Everything I have looked up is 10+ years old and outdated. I have a YouTube Premium subscription. On Safari, there is no "download" button, but there is on my Google Chrome browser. I have checked settings, allowed downloads for YouTube.com, restarted Safari, and restarted my Mac. No button. Kind of sucks being that Safari is my main browser I use. Any solution? Thanks.
