My MacBook Air will connect to the router’s WiFi but has no internet

Recently my router was replaced. Every other device in the home works fine except my MaxBook Air. It will connect to the router’s WiFi but does not open the internet. Service provider states all is well on their side.

Your computer isn’t getting an IP address from the router which can be a problem either on the router end or the computer end. Usually this can be fixed by shutting down the computer and the router then once the router is back up (test with another device first) turn the computer back on.

Suggest two things. First, open System Settings. Click on the Network link on the left side. It will then show whether Wi-Fi is or is not connected. What is shown? If it is not connected, you will need to select the Wi-Fi connection you want. If that is done and you still have no Wi-Fi access, try resetting the modem by restarting it.
