Time capsule failing to archive to external hard drive

When doing an archive from time capsule internal disk to an external drive. The archive operation stops without completion. The archive folder is always the same partial size.

Anyone has any idea why this happening or how I can debug this?

Total size backup: 2149.98 GB

AirPort Time Capsule Archive_temp size: 531.506 GB

External Hard drives sizes used: 4TB and 5TB

Please start by disconnecting or ejecting the external hard drives that you plan to use for the Archive and perform the following check on the Time Capsule:

Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the Mac's screen.

Select Verify Backups and run the check

The process to check the integrity of the backup files might take anywhere from 15-20 minutes to several hours depending on how much data is stored on the Time Capsule. You will be notified when the process has ended.

Please report on your results.

Unfortunately, the backup files are corrupted. I doubt that Disk Utility will be able to repair the files, but you could give it a go if you have the time and want to give it a try.

The process is a bit goofy and you will need to keep trying just to get the sparsebundle file to mount on the Mac's desktop so Disk Utility can see the file.

Frankly, if it were me I would simply erase the Time Capsule disk and start over again with a new backup. But....I have multiple Time Machine backup drives, so the loss of the backups on the Time Capsule is not that big of a deal.

oh help from the legend himself :D

When clicking verify backups, time machine will start connecting to the time capsule and then immediately stop with a backup failed message. See the screenshots at the end.

I also checked the logs via terminal seeing messages that spark my attention, but cant yet say what the issue is exactly

printf '\e[3J' && log show --predicate 'subsystem == "com.apple.TimeMachine"' --info --last 6h | grep -F 'eMac' | grep -Fv 'etat' | awk -F']' '{print substr($0,1,19), $NF}'

Anything you can read from this situation?
