Hi, looking for a way to use text to speech within the books app on my iPad. I have an iPad 4gen 11” Pro. If that isn’t possible is there an app available for that specific purpose.

Normally you just select the text and choose "speak" from the popup menu that occurs (you may need to tap on the end of that menu to see all the options). Does that not work for you?
