Version 9.3.6 ( I know it's old but I use it to read on the Kindle App). Kindle App no longer syncing with Amazon. It has stopped me from loading more books from my local library. Anyone else have this problem and have you found a solution?
The current version of the Kindle app in the App Store requires iPadOS 15.0 or later. It seems extremely likely Amazon no longer supports such an outdated version of their Kindle app.
Thank you, that makes sense. The Kindle app has been on my IPad for years so I don't think that's the issue but after your comment I suspect that Apple is not allowing my device to sync because of their overall lack of support for an ancient device. It hasn't synced since 2022 and since I don't use it very often I hadn't noticed. I'm very frugal and didn't want to purchase a new ipad just to read books occasionally when I have a new Kindle Fire that does the same thing at much less cost. The Kindle also allows me to plug directly in to my desktop and do downloads of books using Calibre which won't work on the IPad. Fran
