All I want to do is take the format I came up with on pages and use it for a post I’m making. Each time I copy and paste, the format is gone and it doesn’t out look coherent. Is this not possible?

Whatever your posting target, it is probably not a word-processing application and in particular, may not know what to do with the Pages content that was placed on the clipboard. If you are losing the format, then you are likely done with that approach. You may need to do a screen capture of the Pages content and post that image instead if the formatting is critical.
Pages was never designed to export content to the clipboard as HTML with css3 styling (as does MS Word), and if the target of your post is expecting styled HTML content, then it is over.
First off, thank you so much and clearly my frustration made me incapable of using my brain. Out of curiosity, do you know any workarounds or apps that can simply make certain words bold? That’s the key issue I’m hoping to find an answer to, the rest I can deal with.
