I can't connect my iPhone to my new Apple Watch due to activation lock

my mom brought me a Apple Watch , I went off to basic training & now I have a new phone and trying to connect it but it has a activation lock and I don’t know the Apple ID password . My email is still connected but I’ve tried every possible password and it isn’t correct
