While exporting from Pages I am unable to search terms inside my pdf from Finder

This distills to a few factors:

1. Have you enabled Spotlight on the Mac?
2. Have you selected PDF Documents in the System Preferences > Spotlight Search Results categories?
3. What is the format of your search in Finder (which uses Spotlight) for content in that PDF? How you form that search will make or break your search success.

You will have better luck using the Spotlight search terms either from the 🔍 menu bar, or the search field in a Finder window (not the Finder Find utility.

To perform a case-insensitive search for a PDF created between two dates with 2 pages and Pages as the creator:

kind:pdf created:06/01/2024-07/21/2024 pages:2 creator:pages

All PDF documents exported by Pages since June:

kind:pdf created:>06/01/2024 creator:pages
