how to fix misspelled saved words in Apple email?

In Apple email, I have occasionally misspelled a word and it got added to the dictionary as correct. Now the spellcheck skips it. I can't find where to undo this ... I go ti Edit > Spelling but there is no place to unlearn an error. Any suggestions?

Email app is displaying the email incorrectly as I type. Earlier today, I updated to Sonoma 14.3, and it never happened before. It is happening the first time I've used the Mail app after updating. Here's a detailed description of what I'm noticing: As I'm writing an email in the Apple Mail app, it appears to be changing my message as I write it. Portions of the message are replaced with text that is copied from earlier in the email. A single line will be replaced with a line that came much earlier in the message. If I copy and past the full text, it will paste correctly with no issues. It's just in how the message is being displayed in app. If I keep typing, the error glitches badly back and forth between the correct text and the duplicated text. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2023 with the M2 chip.

Type the word you want to unlearn, right-click on it, and the Unlearn Spelling option will appear. I tested in TextEdit, so I'm not sure if that is the only place you can use it.
