Unfortunately, downgrading or rollback is not working at present. I tried and encountered error. I think its still an issue with iOS 18 beta. expecting fixes in upcoming betas that will let us to downgrade without data loss.

Right now, if you have taken backup already or possible to use icloud backup, then perform iOS Restore by connecting your iPhone to computer. If it's Windows, then iTunes method will help. If its Mac, then you have to use Finder App to do iOS Restore. Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your Mac or to iCloud - Apple Support

Hi there,

Unfortunately iOS 18 does not allow downgrades as this is a Beta.

In some circumstances, I believe you may be able to, but it is not guaranteed that it’d work.

1. Make sure you have a backup previously saved to your iCloud.
2. Factory Reset your device
3. Install a backup

Make sure you also backup your device before factory resetting your device - Also make sure the backup you are installing has iOS 17.5.1 or later.

After I did the restore process and had IOS 17 installed I tried to restore from the back I had made that day before restore. However, it forced me to reinstall the Beta to restore my data. Did I miss a step? I prefer to restore my data but not the apps. I'd appreciate any assistance.
