My iPhone randomly starts screen recording when I am using the device. They don’t stop automatically so I have to go into the control centre and stop recording and then go to my photos to delete the recording. I am sure that I didn’t press the record button. Does anyone know why this might be happening? How can I prevent this?

verify your software is up to date
The current stable release of iOS including bug fixes, security updates is iOS 17.5.1

My iPhone is on the latest iOS version (17.5.1). The problem started when I was on iOS 17.5, but updating my iPhone didn’t make a difference. I have filed a bug report so hopefully the problem can be solved by Apple and released in the next bug fix.
