I inserted a sim tray from an iPhone 11 onto my iPhone XR but I later realized they’re not the same size and now on my iPhone XR the sim tray is stuck inside and won’t come out. It sticks out a little bit but there’s no opening to pry it open

Do you not see a pin sized hole next to the sim tray opening on your iPhone? Did you use a sim pin removal tool or a paperclip will work to push it in the hole to hopefully release the sim tray?
If you can't get it out, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and let Apple try to help you. You don't want to take a chance of breaking it, which would require a repair.
I believe your iPhone is no longer serviceable. But try here if you like.
