Must I be connected to a Wi-Fi or should I turn on my data before the optimize battery feature starts to work cause I have the future toggled on I use the same charge pattern this overnight charging location both significant is on I have done it still doesn’t work but I don’t charge overnight with my Wi-Fi connected should that be the reason. Wifi should not matter as it relates to charging your iPhone, but you SHOULD have Wifi turned on when you charge at night while sleeping. It's the only way your phone will backup to the cloud. Wifi is NOT a huge user of power, and it won't matter anyway, since the phone is plugged in to charge.
