Why does it say my gift card is already redeemed?
I bought an apple card n gave as gift n they said it was already used??? How??

It is possible if you purchased it at a location where the retailer displays them open to the public so anyone can tamper with them. Thieves will take cards off the rack and take the sticker off to write the code down. They can easily replace that scratch off sticker with new ones purchased on Amazon and return them to the rack. Then they just wait for you to activate them and spend the money before you get a chance to.
Never buy Gift Cards from a store that does not secure them. Ironically they will lock up products that can be stolen where they will lose money, but fail to protect their customers when money is stolen from them.
You have 2 options:
- Go back to the store with your receipt and demand your money back. This occurred in their store and they failed to protect you.
- Contact Apple using the link in this support article. They may not be able to do anything about it, since it is actually the retailers fault, but it is something they should know about.
