How do background apps affect battery life on iPhone 12 mini?
Hello, my 12 mini almost emptying the battery overnight , I use plane mode, no background apps.

Why aren't you charging your phone overnight, ALL night, EVERY night, with Optimized Battery Charing enabled and the phone connected to Wifi? That is the absolute best way to manage your iPhone's charge. It's harmful to a Lion battery to let its charge dip below 20% or worse fully.
And what is the Battery Health of your iPhone?
Even in Airplane mode, turned on the battery will run down some. And if the battery health of your battery is near, at or below 80%, it's time to have the battery replaced by Apple.
