Hitting a spacebar creates strange blue border around random areas on Mac

I am on Sonoma version of the OS and I ran into a strange issue where a blue border appears around random windows but most disturbingly the cursor jumps to a random line when I write my code on my Mac when I presssed the spacebar.

Although I found a solution here: Strange blue border around Selected windo… - Apple Community, I am really not impressed about this random issue on my Apple machine.

I am especially surprised about it appearing suddenly this morning when last night my Mac was absolutely fine when I was writing code. It seems to have appeared overnight and co-inciding with the global Microsoft outage that started yesterday, 19 July. I thought Apple was known for not having random issues like this.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.5

There is no relationship between the Blue Border issue and the " Crowdstrike " outage

Excerpt and quote " Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted. "

Well, it certainly seems the User ( you ) has somehow coupled / twinned " Crowdstrike " having affected macOS

Yes , have also been 100% in the Apple Eco-System since about 2004 - 2005

Right now, the only issues I experience are which of the three M-Class computers to use at any given time lol
