How can I get the correct receipt for my iPhone purchase?

you bought a gray market phone. You can't get a valid proof of purchase for it at all.

Never mind the fact that the warranty was only valid in the US and only for one year... The best case scenario is that the warranty expired some time in 2022.

If you need to have the device serviced, get on a plane and take it to the US, then take it to an Apple Store an pay for the repair.

If you purchased it in UAE … you CAN’T get an invoice receipt from the USA.

Restated: You can’t obtain a receipt for a transaction which never occurred.

(FYI, the term for that is fraud)

Furthermore, the merchant from whom you purchased your phone was apparently NOT an Apple-Authorized reseller. (or you would have received a “UAE market” iPhone)

Or you can pay for the repair in India.

Is your choice.

(Just as it was your choice to purchase a gray market - if not outright stolen - iPhone in UAE)

Judging from the posts here from people in India, it may be extremely difficult to get it serviced in India even if the OP is willing to pay for the repair.

Why we always recommend to purchase from Apple — or an Apple-authorized retailer -/ in the country of residence or primary use.
