Belkin warranty replacement screen protector

I did receive the new replacement screen protector but there are no instructions or an align tray. When I chatted with Belkin they told me you must go to an Apple Store to have it installed.....REALLY? What if you live 35 miles from the nearest Apple Store.....that's such a load of crap.....why can't the customer install the screen at his home???????
