Where can I buy a cover for my iPad Air 3?

Don't search for the model number, just search for cases for a "3rd Generation iPad Air". I provided a link to such a search on Amazon with many results that will work for an iPad air 3rd Generation.

Told to look on back of iPad to get model number but I can’t even get case off to look. I also asked & was told 10.5 would not fit my iPad.

10.5" is the display size as measured diagonally from the corners. The actual size of the iPad is normally a little bigger since it has bezels. But again, ignore the display size. There is only one size display for the 3rd Generation iPad Air. Anything that says its for a 3rd Generation iPad Air will fit.

Can’t seem to get anywhere with any suggestions. I appreciate your help but I’m beginning to think there isn’t a case for this iPad I bought in 2017.

Well, that's something then. Because the 3rd Generation iPad Air was released in 2019. No sure how you bought one 2 years before it was released.

Again, just look for cases that say they are meant for a 3rd Generation iPad Air and they will fit a 3rd generation iPad Air. But if you can't take the current case off, its hard to imagine any case would fit it anyway.

When viewing the model number at: Settings - General - About - Model = MUUL2LL/A, tap that number to then view the Axxxx number. The Axxxx number should allow proper selection from sites such as Amazon. That number should be:

Model Number A2152

The model number can be found in Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Model.

Don’t worry about the inches. There’s only one size of iPad Air 3rd Generation.

Any case that says it’s for a 3rd Generation iPad Air will fit.
