Why is a picture on my iPhone showing up with someone else, without sharing?

NameDrop would be the usual reason for all of this.

Two iPhones nearby will trigger NameDrop.

Is this bird photo associated with your contact info?

Photos associated with contact cards will show, and can optionally be shared.

What can happen when two iPhones are in proximity:

I’d suggest running safety check for your own comfort, too. (I don’t suspect a problem with your iPhone security.)
