Exporting multiple jpegs Size problem in Preview

I am a photographer and I'm used to exporting multiple Raw files to jpegs using the Preview app. Recently, when trying to export more multiple jpegs at the same time, setting the jpeg size to about 5MB, the first jpeg that is exported has the required size, but all the following jpegs are at least 71MB, and I end-up needing to export all my images one by one to have the requested sizes...

Does anyone have the same problem, and has anyone found a solution to this problem.

P.S: I'm on the latest MacOS supported by my Mac, macOS Ventura 13.6.7
