About two months ago my CarPlay stopped connecting to my 2021 Subaru Forester. I’ve tried a new cord (Apple product), restarting the head unit of the Subaru, restarting my phone, factory reset of my Subaru settings, etc. It reconnected during one drive this week and again will not connect. My phone is up to date. Android Auto still works with my boyfriends phone so it isn’t the car’s physical port. Any ideas?

Did your Subaru service manager indicate there might be a Subaru (carplay or Starlink) firmware update that you have not applied? Uncertain if that year Forester permitted Bluetooth or wired car play interconnectivity, so you might review Subaru's CarPlay advice as it pertains to your Forester.
