My new iPhone 15 does not recognize my truck in the Bluetooth settings

I just got a new IPhone 15 and it’s not recognizing other devices like my truck. It does recognize my headphones and Samsung tv but thats it. It just shows the turning circle where it shows other devices. I’ve never had this issue on prior phones

In addition to what sberman suggested, which is correct, a phone typically doesn't recognize a car until you go into the cars system and choose (however your truck connects to cell phones) to pair a phone with the truck. Once you ask the car to look for the phone, it usually sends a code to confirm the phone, which once confirmed, permits the Bluetooth handshake to pair. Opening Bluetooth on the your phone, expecting it see your truck won't work. Start with the truck infotainment system to find your phone.
