Is there a way to stop the auto-capitalization in the Outlook app on my MacBook Pro?

I have started using the Outlook App v. the web....and it's driving me bonkers! It automatically capitalizes the first letter of every new paragraph, even just when I'm writing one word (e.g., peace, later) and then my name (which is automatically capitalizes as well).

How do I stop this "help"?
