Copying Apple Photos folder from one external drive to another external drive using a MacBook Pro 13-inch, M2, 2022 with MacOS Sonoma V 14.5

I am trying to Copy my Large (1.88 TB) family Apple Photos file folder from one external drive to another external drive using a MacBook Pro 13-inch, M2, 2022 with MacOS Sonoma V 14.5.

My problem is the MacBook only has two usb-c ports. The file is so big, it will not copy before the battery on the computer dies. I can not get figure out how to use the two ports and charge computer at the same time. I have tried some adapters that would allow two usb-c to connect to one of the single usb-c on my computer, but they don't charge the computer at the same time. Maybe I need a specific adapter?

I really need to copy this file over so other family members can have it and so I have a backup.

You need a USB-c hub. Here is one I found on Amazon for $25.

It says "Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1)" has USB-c Power in, and a USB-c port, with 2 other USB-A ports. I have one similar, but with a couple extra ports. Amazon has lots, but BE SURE it says it pass-through power! This one says "Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging." In a quick look, this seemed to be the cheapest one that had pass-through power.

If you have a bunch of USB-A things, you'll want one of these type hubs, but look around to see what suits you.
