So I need help to get my calls and messages to work, my sister gave me her iPhone 11 pro Max, since she bought a new phone, I transferred my SIM card and everything but I still can connect calls, (btw I had an android and transferred my SIM card to my iPhone) idk what else to do, I updated the Carrier thing and software, but I still can't make calls/texts or receive calls/texts

Hey, have you tried resetting your network? It helped me out twice when I changed SIMs.
so just go to settings > general > transfer/reset iPhone > reset network settings
It deletes your saved WiFi passwords as well. I hope this helps you out man.
