Is it the Thunderbolt 4 Cable? Docking Station

I had a Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station which worked out of the gate with the new iPad Pro (2024). After a week, the dock keeps flicking on and off by the iPad.

If I connect the dock my iPhone 15 it works well, all devices work and external monitor.

I’m using the dock with the original Lenovo cable, I’m lost trying to troubleshoot why this is happening. I was thinking if it was the cable, but before I spend $$ on an Apple approved cable, I wanted to get input from the community.

Other devices like a Lenovo Laptop and iPhone work fine with the dock. Makes me think is not the cable and is something iPad specific.

Any ideas?

Presumably you are experiencing difficulties with your attached Monitor working consistently with your iPad when both the iPad and Monitor are connected via the Thunderbolt Dock?

How is the Thunderbolt Dock being powered? Ensure that the Power Adapter connected to the dock has adequate power output to support the iPad (+20W) plus the Dock itself (W?) and any other connected devices - all of which require power to function.

If the connected Monitor is being powered solely from the Thunderbolt Dock, include the Monitor's own power requirements in your power-budget calculation.
